Primary bite
Left click is a light bite. It finishes wounded targets, buys a few seconds of defense, or corrects an angle after a drop. With 30 bite force, Herrera should not turn a missed ambush into a frontal duel.

Herrerasaurus
This profile gathers useful information for choosing this dinosaur, understanding its role, and preparing a Gateway session.
Play style
Herrerasaurus plays as a vertical ambusher. It is not impressive on the ground, but it completely changes a forest: climb, watch, choose a drop line, hit hard from above, then reset the fight by returning to height. A good Herrera does not chase for long; it turns trees into scouting posts, attack angles, and escape routes.

Hold right click to aim at a valid surface, then press space to leap and latch. Herrera gameplay starts before the attack: test trees, choose a branch with an exit, watch without calling, then drop only when the line is clean.
From height, hold right click to aim and jump to perform the drop attack. Damage depends on fall velocity and Herrera size; it can deal heavy damage and bleed, and may stagger or knock down depending on the target. After impact, climb back up or disappear: staying grounded gives away much of its advantage.
The dewlap sends a visual signal to other Herreras without making a broadcast-level sound. It is useful for coordinating an ambush from trees without immediately revealing the group's position.
Selection-screen data: Preferred Food Tenontosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Boar, Bullfrog, Omniraptor, Hypsilophodon, Chicken, Dryosaurus, Pteranodon, Beipiaosaurus, Goat, Seaturtle, Gallimimus. Basic Max Weight 175.0, Basic Max Speed 1250.0, Basic Max Bite Force 30.0, Basic Max Group Size 10. Official patch 0.13.18.17 adds Herrerasaurus as an EVRIMA playable class. DevBlog #39 describes the climbing system: surface movement, climbing up or down ledges, aimed jumps, landing indicators, and branch-to-branch navigation. Official notes describe the drop attack: holding right click while falling onto a target deals damage and can stagger or knock down based on falling velocity. The developers also say the attack scales with velocity and Herrera size. An official patch increases drop attack damage and bleed, prevents Herrera from falling over after a successful hit from bone-breaking height, and fixes latch and drop-attack lock issues.
Evrima Quick Guide matches the selection screen: 175 kg, 45 km/h, 30 bite force, pack limit of 10, and about 5h25 total growth. Raw speed 1250 converts to 45 km/h with the 0.036 multiplier. The Isle Field Guide describes Herrerasaurus as a vertical ambusher: choose a climbable surface, wait for an isolated target, strike from above, then climb away instead of extending the ground fight.
