Primary bite
Left click remains the simple bite. It defends a bank, finishes a trapped target, or punishes anything staying too close to the water. With 500 bite force, one mistake near its jaws can be fatal.

Deinosuchus
This profile gathers useful information for choosing this dinosaur, understanding its role, and preparing a Gateway session.
Play style
Deinosuchus plays as an aquatic ambush predator. It does not hunt the whole map: it controls water sources. Its game is to choose a busy river, disappear below the surface, save stamina, then punish the instant a target drinks, crosses, or swims too confidently. On land it becomes heavy and predictable; in water, it creates a threat that changes how the whole server behaves.

Holding right click while waterwalking triggers the big lunge. This is Deino's core tool: launch from the water, grab a light enough target, maintain the hold, then drag it under to drown it. If the target is too heavy, Deino is punished with a stagger.
Tapping right click while swimming triggers a water boost. It quickly pushes Deino toward maximum swim speed, corrects an approach, or surprises a target that thinks it has enough space to drink.
Water Sense reads movement in the water. Deino should use it as a patience radar: wait, sense, choose the angle, then strike when the target has already committed to the river.
Selection-screen data: Preferred Food Tenontosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, Ceratosaurus, Kentrosaurus, Carnotaurus, Omniraptor, Diabloceratops, Deinosuchus, Troodon, Bullfrog, EliteFish, Seaturtle, Gallimimus, Beipiaosaurus, Maiasaura. Basic Max Weight 8000.0, Basic Max Speed 500.0, Basic Max Bite Force 500.0, Basic Max Group Size 2. Official patch 0.7.85.04 adds Deinosuchus as a playable class and details its controls: swim up or down, big lunge while waterwalking, small lunge on land, water boost, target grabbing, and Water Sense. Official Update #3 notes say bleed resistance is applied to Deinosuchus, reducing bleed from attacks, and that it cannot wallow. Later official notes mention new lunge swimming animations and Water Sense effects, plus several fixes around lunge behavior, underwater vision, and jaw sounds.
Evrima Quick Guide matches the selection screen: 8 tons, 18 km/h, 500 bite force, and a pack limit of 2. Raw speed 500 converts to 18 km/h with the 0.036 multiplier. The EVRIMA wiki describes Deinosuchus as an apex waterway threat, hard to detect below the surface, able to grab targets and make water sources dangerous by merely existing there.
